Hi, thanks for stopping by! My name Annelies and this is my blog! I’m a sketchnote and handlettering aficionado with a love for travel. Sometimes I even get involved in slightly mad physical challenges.

Annelies Explores is my way of sharing what I’m working on or training for. It’s also an easy way to gather all my travel suggestions to send to friends.

More about me

Having lived in Belgium, Poland and the UK I now have friends and family all over the place. Luckily I like to travel, and this blog is ideal to report back on my trips and give you all the suggestions for my favourite places! I’m living back in Belgium now, so I’ll also share some of my favourites and must-sees from my home country.

I love food and to compensate for that I sign up for physical challenges every year to stay in shape. On the creative front I participated in a graphic recording training in 2017 and haven’t looked back. This blog showcases my progress and other creative explorations. Last but not least: I’m a book nerd and love trying out new things.
